We have a strict identification process in place. When the ashes arrive at our facility, they are immediately assigned a unique number, which is attached to the container, all related documents, and the final product. This number is also engraved in small text directly onto the memorial glass and appears on the certificate confirming the use of the correct ashes. The entire process is monitored by security cameras, making mix-ups impossible. Any remaining unused ashes are respectfully returned with the completed product.

There are two options:

1) Sending the ashes yourself:

You can send a small amount (about half a teaspoon) of ashes to our company after contacting us in advance. Please follow the instructions in the provided section.

2) Using a funeral service:

In countries like Czechia, Slovakia, Germany, and Poland, we work closely with funeral homes that can professionally collect and send the ashes on your behalf.

If your chosen funeral home does not yet offer our products, you can show them our website and suggest contacting us for collaboration.

Instructions for Sending Ashes - Exact procedure:

a) You (or a funeral home / crematorium) will take half a teaspoon of ashes and place them in a small plastic container or a thicker plastic bag and send them to the following address:

It is recommended to label the bag or envelope with the name of the deceased, birth date, and date of passing, or at least write this information on a piece of paper inside the envelope. This information is required for the certificate.

b) We will send you a advance invoice for the product price + shipping costs, which you will need to pay into our account (for example, as a SEPA payment). Once the amount has been credited to our account, we will begin processing your order, and it will be included in the production schedule. But don't forget to send us ashes!

The production time is approximately 5 - 7 weeks. We have a high volume of orders, so please be patient.

c) Each bag of ashes received by our company is assigned a unique number. Additionally, the entire process is monitored by cameras. You will also receive a certificate confirming that the ashes used in the creation process are those of your loved one.

d) Once everything is completed, we will notify you and send the package along with an Itella tracking number.

Transferring ashes into a decorative urn is a common practice worldwide. In our region, this is typically done by a funeral home with the owner’s authorization. Clients may be present during the transfer upon agreement with the funeral home. The urn can also be sealed with glue after the transfer.

Our urns have no design limitations, allowing for more elegant and aesthetically pleasing shapes compared to standard containers. This gives us the freedom to offer a wide variety of unique urn designs to suit different preferences.

Using plastic ash containers restricts the shape of the urn, but we do offer select models in almost every category that can accommodate a standard plastic insert.

Due to high demand and the artisanal nature of our production, it typically takes 5-7 weeks to craft a Memory Crystal piece. Production will begin once the full advance invoice has been paid. We appreciate your patience, as each item is custom-made with great care and respect.

We have been shipping fragile glass products across Europe for several years and have extensive experience in secure packaging. Our items are carefully wrapped and placed in shock-resistant packaging to minimize the risk of damage. Breakages are very rare, but if a glass urn or Memory glass item arrives damaged, we will replace it free of charge. However, since each piece of Memory crystal is handcrafted, production will take another 5-7 weeks.

We recommend keeping a small amount of ashes, even if a memorial item has already been made.

All glass and ceramic urns include a protective pouch that securely holds the ashes inside. In case of breakage, the ashes remain safely contained within the pouch.

We create crystal products from the initial idea to the final design realization in Czechia. Glass blowing, cutting, engraving, grinding, drilling, finishing, silvering, lacquering. Only SeeYou silver jewellery comes from a manufacturer in the Netherlands, but is filled with ashes and special resin in our workshop at our headquarters.

Each authentic piece is handcrafted by skilled glassmakers using the finest Czech crystal glass in our own glassworks in Česká Lípa, Czechia. Every design is unique and created exclusively by us.

Memory Crystals are made by fusing a small amount of a loved one’s ashes into high-quality crystal during the glassmaking process. This one-of-a-kind technique creates a beautiful and lasting tribute. Our collection includes various shapes such as drops, pyramids, oil lamps, candle holders, pendants, bracelet beads, cut gemstones for rings, and custom sculptures.

We ensure the utmost care and respect when handling ashes, with a strict identification process throughout production. Our facility is monitored by control cameras, and upon request, you can personally witness the creation of your Memorial Glass.

Each piece comes with a unique identification code and an authenticity certificate confirming the use of the provided ashes.

Memory Crystal s.r.o. collaborates with most funeral homes in Czechia and is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and FIAT-IFTA.

All our products are handmade, but custom urn shapes are not possible, as they are usually produced using pre-made moulds. Similarly, changing the colour of an urn is not an option, as we use carefully controlled colour batches to ensure consistency.

If you would like a fully custom glass sculpture with embedded ashes, we can explore the possibility of creating a unique design for you. However, please note that the cost may be 3 to 10 times higher than standard products.

For personalisation, we do offer engraving on glass urns. If engraving is available for a specific product, you will find a text field on the product page where you can enter your desired inscription. The text must fit within the available surface area of the urn or its base to ensure proper application.

Our collection includes urns made from glass, ceramics, wood, and brass. Each material is carefully selected to provide both durability and elegance.

We also offer memorial jewellery crafted from 925 sterling silver or stainless steel. Due to the high and fluctuating cost of gold, we do not offer jewellery in solid gold. However, some silver jewellery pieces can be gold-plated in either yellow or rose gold, and this option is clearly specified for applicable products.

In some cases, Memory crystal can be tinted with a specific colour. If this option is available, it will be clearly mentioned on the product page.

By default, Memory crystal is made from crystal-clear glass with embedded cremation ashes. In certain designs, we also offer the addition of 24-karat gold or a coloured tint of your choice.

For those who prefer a more natural and minimalistic look, it is always possible to choose pure crystal glass with ashes only, without any added colour.

Glass Products:

Yes, in addition to cremation ashes, we can also incorporate a small amount of pet fur or human hair into the Memory crystal.

If cremation has not taken place, we can convert the hair into cremation ashes in our glassworks and use them in the production of the Memorial glass. This provides an alternative for those who choose a traditional burial instead of cremation but still wish to have a meaningful keepsake.

Exception: In our product MCV1, hair can be placed inside the glass cavity without being exposed to high temperatures. Unlike standard Memory Glass, where the ashes or hair are fused into molten glass, this design allows hair to be inserted cold into a sealed chamber inside the glass.

Silver Jewellery with Visible Ashes:

In silver jewellery, in addition to ashes, a very small amount of hair or animal fur can be embedded in a special resin, as well as other small objects such as dried flowers, breast milk, textile fibres, paper, sand, soil, etc.

For individual customers, unused and undamaged urns without personalised text can be returned or exchanged within 14 days.

For wholesale customers, returns or exchanges are only possible by prior agreement.

Due to the nature of Memory crystals, it cannot be returned, as it contains the cremation ashes of a specific person or pet. Similarly, memorial jewellery that has already been filled with ashes cannot be returned. Only unused and undamaged jewellery without personalisation may be eligible for return.

We typically do not require a minimum order quantity, allowing you to purchase as needed.

Each time you want to access your account, enter your email and click "Get Sign-In Link". You will receive a temporary login link via email. Clicking on this link will log you into your account.

Why don’t we use passwords?

Instead of passwords, we use secure email-based login, which is safer. Once logged in, you can delete the login email.

To view prices without VAT (reverse charge) as an EU wholesale customer, you have the following options:

a) Register using our form here. After verifying your account, we will enable wholesale pricing, including tax-free prices. A VAT number is required.

b) If you have already registered as a regular user and received a login link, please contact us from your registered email. Once you provide your company details, we will upgrade your account to wholesale pricing, including tax-free prices.

If your wholesale account has already been created and approved, you must log in (click the profile icon in the top right corner) by entering your email and clicking the temporary login link sent to your email.

It is not possible to log in with a password, as logging in with a link is more secure. You can only log in by entering your registered email and clicking on the link that is delivered to your email.

We strive to keep all glass urns and other urns in stock, but availability may vary if another wholesaler has recently placed a large order.

Glass urns:

If in stock, they can be shipped within 2–4 days after full payment of the proforma invoice. If out of stock, production takes approximately 3–5 weeks. We recommend keeping a small inventory to avoid delays.

Memory Crystals:

Each piece is handmade to order, and the production time is 5–7 weeks. Please inform your customers about the expected delivery time accordingly.

Yes, we offer training sessions for funeral home staff to help them better understand our products and present them to families with confidence.

Training can be conducted live online or in person during a scheduled visit to your office, subject to prior arrangement.

We also offer catalogues and brochures featuring our products. However, they are currently available only in German and English. We can also provide PDF versions upon request.

For larger orders (e.g., 500+ copies), we can arrange the printing of customised brochures in your language. These professionally designed brochures are ideal for display stands or presentation desks.

Yes, we highly recommend having sample products available for customers to see and feel in person. We offer sample memorial items made with our own ashes to serve as display pieces.

The only available payment method for wholesale or end customers is prepayment via proforma invoice. The full amount must be paid before production begins.
