The production of the original ©Memorial Glass is protected by a patent. The only holder of the patent for the production technology of Memory Glass is the owner of Memory Crystal s.r.o., Mr. Dalibor Novák.

The original Memorial Glass is produced by master glassmakers from the highest quality Czech crystal glass in our own glassworks in Česká Lípa. All designs of glass commemorative items are our original designs.

The memorial glass is created by combining high quality crystal and a small amount of the deceased’s ashes, which are sealed directly into the glass during the production process. The combination of the delicate decoration and ashes creates an extraordinarily beautiful and unique phenomenon that perpetuates the memory of a loved one’s life. Commemorative glass comes in many shapes, designs and colours. For example, in the shape of a drop, teardrop, pyramid, oil lamp, candle holder, neck pendant, bracelet bead, cut stone for a ring or free-form sculpture.

We take great care in the respectful handling of the ashes sent to us and in the constant checking of the unmistakability of the ashes throughout the production process.

The production process is constantly monitored by surveillance cameras. If you wish, you can come to us by appointment and be present during the actual production of the memorial glass.

Each commemorative glass is provided with a registration code and a certificate of authenticity for the use of ash.

Memory Crystal s.r.o. cooperates with almost all funeral homes in Czechia and many from Europe, which have access to our product catalogues, price lists and product samples.

Our urns have no design restrictions on shape and therefore the overall appearance of the urn is much more pleasing than conventional packaging. As a result, we have a wide range of different urn shapes to choose from.

The insertion of plastic cartridges with ashes limits the shape of the urn. Nevertheless, we have several urns in almost every category in which a typed plastic urn can be inserted directly.

Transferring ashes into a decorative urn is common almost all over the world. In Czechia, the funeral home performs this task on the basis of a mandate from the owner of the urn. The client may be present at the transfer according to the agreement with the funeral home. The urn may be sealed after the transfer.
