Our Story
Memory Crystal – Preserving Memories in Glass Memory Crystal s.r.o. is a Czech company with a strong legacy in both artistic glassmaking and the funeral industry. Our story began in 1999 when founder Dalibor Novák designed the first glass urn, laying the foundation for a business that now exports worldwide, including Europe, Canada, and the USA. In 2006, we expanded under the name Noamy Art Glass, specializing in art glass for lighting, galleries, and most notably, glass urns—our main export product. That same year, Dalibor Novák developed Memory Glass, a unique innovation where cremation ashes are sealed directly into glass. This became a turning point, leading to its patent in 2009. Today, Memory Glass is offered in 15 European countries.
Since 2009, we have distributed our glass urns and Memory Glass under the Memory Urns brand in Czechia, significantly expanding our product range to include exclusive urns and memorial goods. Today, Memory Crystal products are available through nearly all funeral services in the country. In 2016, we opened the only pet crematorium in the Liberec region, offering dignified farewell options for beloved pets. In 2017, we introduced SeeYou commemorative jewelry, crafted by the Dutch family-owned brand See You Jewelry since 1946. In 2017, we became the exclusive distributor for Czechia and Slovakia. At Memory Crystal, we continue to blend tradition with innovation, preserving memories in glass with artistry and care.
